It's built on an easy structure on synth coming in and out and in between there are spooky tones to build up the tension. Recording of a button sound from a vintage teac hi-fi stereo amplifier. Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Often use wine glasses in musical scores so i created my own recordings. I've used these many times and wanted to share. Kind-of reminds me of soundtrack for the dark knight.

Recorded onto tdk d90 cassette and stored since then in damp cellars, sheds, and long forgotten drawers. Just today transferred to digital using my fathers old decca legato tape player which we purchased in the early 70s to enable us to send messages to my uncle who had emigrated to australia. Dad says the player cost over £30 then which was more than a weeks wages at the time. I was inter-railing around europe at the time but the recording seems to stop in pamplona. Six weeks later all my money and passport was stolen while in crete and i made my way home via the british consulate in athens.

Some raw and dirty random samples of a small, out of tune yamaha pianino (upright piano) at a friends flat. There's noise of my laptop and there even might be some traffic noise in the background. Also no string scratching etc. In this pack. Nevertheless i thought it might be better to share the samples, than to have them just rot on a drive. I suggest throwing them into your software or hardware sampler of choice, manipulate them and listen what you come up with. Cut in ocenaudio. No noise-reduction or other processing has been applied. Sound walk for kadenze course introduction to sound and acoustic sketching. This particular walk was recorded at dick nichols park in south austin, texas. Highlights include basketball playing, cars driving, birds chirping, some walking sound, and kids playing.

Sounds generated by assigning the "wave out" or "line out" signal of the soundcard to a track in fl, and turnin it up. This acts as a digital delay effect with infinite feedback and a very high cycle rate. Basically the noise (similar to pink noise) is produced by the soundcard and the resonance is produced by the low pass filter and the convolution reverb mapping of the waldassen cathedral.

This is a pack of 92 acoustic percussion samples, made from various instruments sitting unused at my house, djembes, darabouka, maracas, composite pipe, pvc, cardboard and wooden scraps, they are all simply recorded with a cheap sm57 clone from t. Bone using ardour, there is no special editing made except for som noise removal in audacity. I needed a repository of percussive short decay organic sounds for my own projects so i made this pack, feel free to use without mentioning me, although i'm always happy when people send me links of their creations.
